PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and easily mount a net for accommodating clothes inside a washing and dewatering tub, and to improve washing quality by exerting an effect of sterilization and deodorization by discharge of charged particulate water.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a washing and dewatering tub 4 in which a pulsator 6 is rotatably provided; a water receiving tub 3 for including the washing and dewatering tub 4; a motor 8 for rotationally driving the pulsator 6 and the washing and dewatering tub 4; a substantially annular fluid balancer 7 provided at an upper end part of the washing and dewatering tub 4; a net 52 having a net body part for accommodating clothes and the like; and an electrostatic mist generating device 40 for generating charged particulate water. The net 52 has a part 52a to be hooked on an outer peripheral end part. On an inner surface of the washing and dewatering tub 4, a net holder 51 is provided including a hook part 51a where the part 52a to be hooked is hooked at a central part close to a lower part of the fluid balancer 7. The washing machine is configured so that charged particulate water is discharged onto the clothes and the like accommodated in the net 52 in a state where the part 52a to be hooked is hooked to the hook part 51a.
