Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently stir laundry.SOLUTION: A washing machine 1 has: an outer tub 2 for storing washing liquid; an inner tub 4, provided inside the outer tub 2, for accommodating laundry; a stirring vane 6, provided below the inner tub 4, for stirring laundry and washing liquid by rotated about a center of rotation 5; and a drive part 9 for driving the stirring vane 6. The stirring vane 6 has a stirring projection 8 formed in a projection shape between the center of rotation 5 of the stirring vane 6 and an outer peripheral end 7 of the stirring vane 6. The stirring projection 8 has a downward tilted face 20 tilted downward from a side of the center of rotation 5 of the stirring vane 6 toward a side of the outer peripheral end 7 of the stirring vane 6, and an upward tilted face 21 provided on the side of the outer peripheral end 7 of the stirring vane 6 than the downward tilted face 20 and tilted upward toward the side of the outer peripheral end 7 of the stirring vane 6.
