To provide a washing machine which is easy to use also for an elderly person or a person living in a wheel chair.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes a housing, an outer tub supported in the housing, a washing and dewatering tub rotatably supported in the outer tub, a pulsator provided rotatably at a lower part of the washing and dewatering tub, and an input port where laundry is put in/taken out. The height of the input port from the floor surface is 600-780 mm, and the height of the bottom part of the washing and dewatering tub from the floor surface is 270-400 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
