Abstract:
To provide a washing tub capable of surely pumping up washing water and rinsing water stored at a lower part of the washing tub to an upper part of the washing tub.SOLUTION: A washing machine has a washing tub 21 installed to rotate around a center axis extending in the vertical direction. The washing tub 21 is housed in a tub housing 22 and an upper part is closed by a lid plate part 31. A large number of open holes penetrated through the inside and outside of the washing tub are formed in a peripheral wall of the washing tub 21. Water pumping guides 73 and 74 spiral from a lower end part to an upper end part of the washing tub 21 are formed in an inner peripheral surface of the tub housing 22. In a lower space 71 between a bottom plate part 62 of the washing tub 21 and a bottom part of the tub housing 21, a fin 72 extending radially is installed in the bottom plate part 62 of the washing tub 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
