PURPOSE: To perform washing with appropriate water current suitable for the capacity and quality of cloth by providing a pulsation signal detecting means which detects the waveform of a pulsatory component included in the output signal of a pressure sensor, and a control means which controls the stirring capacity of a stirring means corresponding to the waveform of the pulsatory component detected by the pulsation signal detecting means.
CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer 10 as the control means is comprised so as to judge the capacity of washing and a stirring state by a pulsator 3 from the waveform of the pulsatory component detected by a water current detector 9, and to command a water level in accordance with the capacity of the washing to a water supply valve 32, etc., and also, to control the rotary capacity of the pulsator 3 via a pulsator rotary capacity controller 11. In a stirring process as performing water supply, the capacity of the washing can be judged from the waveform of the pulsatory component included in the pressure signal of the pressure sensor 4 with actual water current. The optimum water level in accordance with the capacity of the washing is commanded to a water supply valve 32, and also, the rotary capacity of the pulsator 3 is controlled via the pulsator rotary capacity controller 11 based on a water current signal obtained actually. Thereby, the optimum water current in accordance with the capacity and the quality of the washing can be obtained by controlling both the water supply quantity and the rotary capacity of the pulsator.
