To provide a washing method for incineration ash, capable of efficiently removing chlorine contained in incineration ash, and making effective use of coarse particles in the incineration ash as cement material.
The washing method for removing chlorine from incineration ash formed by coagulation of the coarse particles and fine particles includes: a process for forming slurry, in which magnetic foreign matter is removed from the incineration ash by magnetic sorting in advance, water in amount of 1-10 times weight of the ash is added to the foreign matter-removed incineration ash, and the obtained mixture is mixed by stirring so as to grind the incineration ash to form slurry; and a separating process in which the slurry is separated into coarse particle-containing slurry and fine particle-containing slurry.
