PURPOSE: To reduce the decrease of permeated flux density and to separate and recover the hardly soluble particular component incorporated in various kinds of washing waste waters, etc., by on efficient separation membrane washing by interrupting the permeated water passage of the separation membrane, introducing a compressed gas to at least feedwater side of the separation membrane for a specified time and allowing a gas-liq. mixed fluid to circulate at the time of the washing of the separation membrane.
CONSTITUTION: The particlar component is separated and removed from the waste water containing an insoluble particular component in solid, liq. or gaseous state by using the separation membrane 3. In this waste water treating device, when the separation membrane 3 is washed, the permeated water passage 31 of the separation membrane 3 is interrupted by the means 6 which is provided to interrupt the passage, and the introducing pipe 41 which is communicated with the introducing port which introduces a compressed air to at least feedwater side of the separation membrane 3 is opened by providing an interrupting means 5, and by introducing the compressed air, the gas-liq. mixed fluid is circulated and the separation membrane 3 is washed. As a result, the separation membrane is washed efficiently, the insoluble particular component incorporated in various kinds of washing waste water, etc., is separated efficiently and a clean waste water is discharged.
