PURPOSE: To permit a maintenance of optimum treating concentration consistently without influence by the supply pressure of drinking water in particular in a water cleaner to remove suspended solids and the bleaching powder odor in drinking water in home.

CONSTITUTION: When the separated water valve 23 is opened, untreated water is obtained from the original water outlet 22, but when the switching lever 21 is operated, pathway to the untreated water supply port 22 is switched and the water 19 to be treated is sent through the water supply hose 18 to the water receiver 4. And, when an appropriate amount of the water 19 to be treated is stored in the receiver 4, the float switch 11 is operated, the impeller 12 is turned, the water 19 to be treated is sucked in the suction port 8 and pressurized, the pressurized water is sent to the filter element 17 of the filter container 15 where suspended solids and the bleaching powder odor are removed, and then treated water is obtained from the treated water outlet 16. The water receiver 4 is so transparent that the water level inside can be ascertained.
