To provide waterproof shoes capable of preventing water from infiltrating through a water permeable of the outer material of an upper from the end face of the same into the inside of the shoes and which can be easily manufactured without generating manufacturing defects by substantially the same steps and materials as conventional one.
An upper 3 of a waterproof shoe 1 has two outer material 31 joined each other in which a thermoplastic resin-made surface layer 312 is formed on an entire surface of a base material layer 311 having water-permeability and a lining material 33 bonded to a rear face of the outer material via a thermoplastic resin-made waterproof film 32. Water stop parts 30A, 30B preventing water from infiltrating into a shoe body 2 from an end face of a base material layer of the outer material through the same is formed in the upper by welding the surface layer of the outer material and the waterproof film while heating and compressing the predetermined part with the outer material and the waterproof film bonded.
