Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively prevent the occurrence of the damage and wear of the important part of a transmission device by primarily blocking entrance of water from the outside by means of a waterproof cap and positive drainage of water which enters once, in a transmission system having a floating type toothed belt pulley.
CONSTITUTION: Disc-shaped waterproof caps 17 and 18 are arranged to the outside of plates 11 and 12 on both sides of a floating type toothed belt pulley 9 centering around the axis 7 of an inner transmission vehicle 8. The outer peripheral edge parts 17a and 18a of the waterproof caps 17 and 18 are brought into slide contact with two side plates 11 and 12 and grooves 17b and 18b for drainage are disposed in a distributed state to the outer peripheral edges 17a and 18a.
