Title:
WATT-HOUR METER WITH BUILT-IN NET SYSTEM ENERGY DEMAND METER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3333341
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decide the minimum rate of a low-voltage consumer based on the actual power consumption of the consumer by providing a rotation detecting means, frequency dividing means, counting and comparing means, demand displaying means, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A rotation detecting section 1 detects the rotation of a disk as electric pulses and calculates the number of pulses (=the number of rotations of the disk) when rated power is used for one hour at a rated voltage, rate current, and rated frequency. Since the number of pulses (=the number of rotations of the disk) is the number of pulses per one hour, the number of pulses becomes a half when the used time of the electric power is 30 minutes. In addition, the value obtained by dividing the rated power by the number of pulses per 30 minutes becomes the kW value per one pulse and the frequency dividing section 2a calculates the kW value by multiplying the number of detected pulses by this value as a constant. A counting and comparing section 3a calculates the net system energy demand by integrating the kW value for 30 minutes, compares the net system energy demand with that during the preceding 30-minute period, and displays the larger value as the maximum net system energy demand in a net system energy demand displaying section 5a.
