PURPOSE: To provide a wave-activated power generator which can convert and store wave power directly to electric energy without using a moving unit for converting to mechanical energy, a normal generator with high efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A wave-activated power generator comprises a DC power source of a discharge circuit of an electrode unit 11 (capacitor with capacitance c0 to c1) so installed as to oppose electrode plates for forming a capacitor under the water as a plurality (N) of storage batteries 45 connected in series, wherein the part of the storage battery group of a plurality (M) are used as the DC power source of a charge circuit. Accordingly, the batteries 45 perform the charging power source for the capacitor and the discharging power source of the capacitor storage energy added with conversion energy from waves. The power is supplied from the batteries 45 to the load to stably supply the voltage, and the range of the load to be supplied can be increased.
