Abstract:

PURPOSE: To smoothly insert a rapier for weft inserting into a shedding by adjusting inclination in the width direction of part to be inserted into a warp group of the rapier for weft inserting to a state corresponding to the state of the shedding of yarn and then inserting weft into the shedding.

CONSTITUTION: A rapier 22 for weft inserting is rotated around an axis extending in the direction of width of woven fabric F, inclination in the width direction of part to be inserted into a warp Z group of the rapier 22 is adjusted to a state corresponding to a shedding of yarn at a waiting position outside the warp group and then weft is inserted into the shedding.
