Abstract:
To provide a method of controlling a weft insertion device in a fluid jet-type loom which prevents generation of weft insertion defects while preventing unwinding resistance applied to weft from increasing when restoring a weft insertion series which has been excluded because of feed yarn breakage in weaving, and a weft insertion device capable of realizing the control method.SOLUTION: The method comprises preliminarily determining an arbitrary complement winding amount different from a preliminarily set spare winding amount, and performing a weft yarn winding motion by the complement winding amount accompanied with operation of a restoring button incrementally to an ordinary winding aspect to a storage drum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
