Two yarn feed packages 20, 21 are set opposite and the start end and the finish end of each yarn feed packages 20, 21 are connected, and the weft is drawn from the yarn feed packages 20, 21 to supply to a weft-inserting means through a weft storage device. Each yarn feed package 20, 21 are set so that the intersection P of central axes L1, L2 of respective yarn feed packages 20, 21 is set inside (the opposite side of the weft drawing direction) a line which ties edges 20a, 21a of the weft drawing direction side of two yarn feed packages 20, 21, and an opening end 32a of a pipe 32, as a common weft guide, is set at the intersection P.
