Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weft-tension imparting apparatus having effective action to impart weft tension.
SOLUTION: Air jet is ejected from a stretch nozzle 16 on a slay 11 toward the introducing port 171 of a weft-capturing pipe 17. The stretch nozzle 16 is integrally moved forward according to the beating forward motion of a deformable reed 12. The center axis C1 of the air jet stream ejected from the stretch nozzle 16 is parallelly shifted from the center C2 of the introducing port 171 in the direction of the forward motion of the stretch nozzle 16 to stagger the center axis line C1 of the air jet ejected from the stretch nozzle 16 from the center C2 of the introducing port 171 of the weft-capturing pipe 17.
