Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a wheel alignment measuring device to rapidly and optimumly adjust the wheel alignment of a vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: A wheel alignment measuring device is provided where the axle weight of a vehicle is measured by an axle weight meter 14, the optimum value of the wheel alignment is computed from the measured axle weight by a computer 18, and the optimum value and the actually measured value are displayed on a display 20. This constitution allows the rapid adjustment of the wheel alignment because the optimum value of the wheel alignment at the axle weight of each wheel is displayed together with the actually measured value even when the weight of the vehicle to be measured is different from the design standard value.
