Abstract:

To provide a new device, etc. to improve a wheel tread state.

This wheel tread state improving device 1 includes a sliding contact part 10 having a polishing element 18 and an electrode part 16 on a sliding contact surface side in sliding contact with the wheel tread T, an energizing circuit part 20 for energizing the electrode part 16, a deciding part 27 for deciding a contamination state of the wheel tread T, an actuator 30 for pressing the sliding contact part 10 on the wheel tread T, and a control part 40. The control part 40 increases pressing force of the sliding contact part 10 on the wheel tread T based on the contamination state decided by the deciding part 27 when the sliding contact part 10 is in sliding contact with the wheel tread T and makes the polishing element 18 polish the wheel tread T.
