Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of mechanical wear and decline in generation performance. This wind power generation device is provided with: a rotor that is rotated by wind; a nacelle that rotatably supports the rotor; a tower that supports the nacelle in such a manner as to be capable of rotating in a yaw rotational direction; an adjustment device for adjusting the yaw of the nacelle on the basis of a yaw control command; and a control device that determines a yaw control command to be sent to the adjustment device. The wind power generation device is characterized in that: the control device is provided with a yaw angle calculation unit for calculating the yaw angle from the orientation of the rotor and a wind direction measured by a wind direction measurement unit, and a control command creation unit for determining the yaw control command on the basis of the yaw angle, a yaw control initiation threshold, and a yaw control termination threshold; and the initiation threshold and the termination threshold are of the same polarity, and the termination threshold is lower than the initiation threshold.
