To provide a winder for toilet paper which allows a user to take up a required amount of toilet paper by one hand, has simple and inexpensive configuration, and is suitable to be used by a cleanly person.

This winder 10 for toilet paper includes: a take-up roll 110 taking up the toilet paper 21 by its outer peripheral surface; and a support part 150 supporting the take-up roll 110 above a toilet paper holder 20. The support part 150 supports the take-up roll 110 at one end of the take-up roll 110 so that the take-up roll 110 is turned only in one direction and not turned in the reverse direction. The outer peripheral surface of the take-up roll 110 is provided with three grooves 112 extending parallel to a rotating shaft 153 of the take-up roll 110 and reaching the opposite side to the support part 150 on the take-up roll 110.
