Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a wiper freezing preventing cover with excellent productivity by the blow forming using a thermoplastic elastomer, keep the cover strong and soft at a low temperature, and eliminate the pollution.
CONSTITUTION: A freezing preventing cover 5 is formed with a compounding ingredient of thermoplastic elastomer and the hardness is set to 30-60°. The freezing preventing cover 5 is manufactured in the blow forming method by using a die having a slide core 12 whose section is T-shaped for the body die 11, and a groove part 5a where a blade rubber 4 is inserted into a cylindrical part 7 of the cover by the slide core 12, is formed.
