To provide a wood crusher capable of enhancing the crushing productivity of wood by preventing the back flow of wood on the way of crushing.
The wood crusher is equipped with a rotary crushing device 16 provided on a main body frame 10 and equipped with a crushing rotor 20 having crushing bits 18 arranged to its outer peripheral part, a feed conveyor 3 for feeding wood to be crushed to the crushing device 16, a press roller 42, a drive roller 4 provided on the side opposite to the crushing device 16 of the press roller 42, a press conveyor device 5 having an endless track member 44 trained over the press roller 42 and the drive roller 43 and pressing wood to be crushed while moved up and down to introduce the same into the crushing device 16 and an involution preventing wall 94 for crushed wood arranged on the side of the crushing device 16 of the press conveyor device 5 so as to be moved up and down along with the press conveyor device 5 so that the height direction position of the lower end thereof becomes at least almost same to the axial position X of the press roller 42 or lower than the position X.
