Abstract:
To obtain a wood crushing apparatus which can finely crush a material to be crushed even when the supply speed of a supply roll is not lowered.
A cutter 36 for crushing the material to be crushed is installed in the crushing part 16 of a chipper 10. The cutter 36 has a wheel 40 rotated by driving/rotating a wheel shaft 38. A guide channel is formed spirally on the periphery of the wheel 40, and a saw chain 60 is wound around the guide channel. The saw chain 60 is fixed to the wheel only by both end parts. By using a crushing method using the saw chain 60, the material to be crushed can be crushed more finely as compared with a conventional crushing method.
