Title:
WOOD-FIRED STOVE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2017116245
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood-fired stove which: enables heating output to be easily adjusted; curbs fluctuation in the heating output regardless of a quantity of firewood therein; and prevents generation of smoke and soot when feeding the firewood thereinto.SOLUTION: A wood-fired stove comprises a casing 1 having an empty space 14 at a position lower than an air inlet 12 and a combustion chamber 15 at the position higher than the same; and a tray 2, to place firewood M thereon, suspended in the casing in a manner that brings the firewood close to the air inlet 12. The wood-fired stove is adapted to adjust combustion intensity by changing a superficial area of the firewood exposed to combustion air A in a manner that moves the tray 2 upward when increasing the combustion intensity or downward when reducing the same. In addition, the tray 2 is connected to an elastic body such as a tensile coil spring 5 so that the same is moved upward as the firewood M thereon reduces a weight thereof due to a progress of combustion. The casing also has a metal or ceramic mesh, at an upper section thereof, which is heated by radiation from the firewood during combustion and thereby performing the combustion of smoke and soot generated when the firewood is fed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
