Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a firewood stove capable of effectively realizing preheating of secondary air supplied to a combustion chamber, advantageously performing combustion in the combustion chamber and at the same time also advantageously improving durability of combustion catalyst used there.SOLUTION: A firewood stove having a transparent peephole at a stove main body is constructed such that a partition wall for parting an inner space of the stove main body into a combustion chamber and a combustion gas discharge chamber is made as a double wall structure formed with a secondary air passage therein, secondary air passed through the secondary air passage as above is blown out to a side surface of the peephole facing against the combustion chamber and supplied into the combustion chamber and at the same time combustion gas produced in the combustion chamber is fed into a combustion gas passage formed between the partition wall and a baffle plate installed below the partition plate, thereafter the combustion gas passes through combustion catalyst arranged at a combustion gas discharge port and discharged out into the combustion gas discharge chamber.
