To increase the use efficiency of a wood by forming a woody composite board using small wood pieces and a wood granule generated during forming the small wood pieces.

This woody composite board is composed of the small wood pieces (42a and 43a) divided in the form of a plane or a pin and the wood granule (41a) decomposed in the form of a granule and/or a fiber. The small wood pieces (42a and 43a) are distributed in a way that the pieces (42a and 43a) become granually smaller in size from a surface layer part to a core layer part, and the wood granule (41a) is dispersed in the core layer part and these pieces and granule are hot-pressed and molded.
