Abstract:

To provide a work machine having a two-piece boom, which is constructed such that hydraulic hoses attached thereto along a front are prevented from colliding with a ceiling during execution of work, resulting in breakage of the hydraulic hoses or joint portions thereof, and that the front is not limited from operating upward due to the breakage.

The work machine is formed of a traveling body and a revolving body mounted on the same via a revolving device. The revolving body has mounted thereon the front 8 which is formed of a lower boom 11, an upper boom 14, and an arm 17 vertically rotatably connected to each other, in a rising/falling manner, and a work unit is attached to the arm 17. Then, out of the hydraulic hoses for feeding hydraulic oil to hydraulic actuators provided for the arm 17 and the work unit, those 33, 34, 43, 44 which are attached to the upper boom 14 are disposed on a lower side of the upper boom 14.
