PURPOSE: To prevent a contact accident for an obstacle by obtaining deceleration degree according to the distance from a present coordinate at a monitor point to an entry prohibitiol region and thereby decelerating an actuator.
CONSTITUTION: In a microcomputer 31, a present height at each of monitor points M1-M4 is computed with a boom angle and an arm angle as variables. For the heght, a height at each of the monitor points M1-M4 after a specific time is computed on the basis of lever output signals from electric levers 16, 17. In the case where at any monitor point the reach to an entry prohibition region above, set in advance, after a specific time, is predicted, a distance from a present coordinate of the monitor point to the entry prohibition region is taken as a deceleration region. And thus, the size of the deceleration region is altered according to action speed of an actuator. Accordingly, at a posture where deceleration is not made conventionally, the frequency of deceleration is reduced.
