Title:
WORKING METER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005196460
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a working meter which is hardly broken even in the case of being affected by acceleration change owing to the operation of a hydraulic breaker, etc., and correctly measures the usage time of the hydraulic breaker, etc., incorporating batteries.

An electric current is supplied from a battery part 2 to a control part 3, while a switch signal is outputted by defining a detection voltage from an impact sensor 1 as the switch signal. The control part 3 writes a measurement time and/or an accumulated time in a storage part 4. Then the battery part 2 does not supply the electric current to the control part 3 when the switch signal is not outputted and supplies the current to the control part 3 when the switch signal is outputted. When the electric current is supplied, the control part 3 measures the measurement time from the detection of the voltage by the impact sensor 1 to the termination of the detection voltage. The measurement time is reflected and the accumulated time is updated. The updated accumulated time is written in the storage part 4. The electric current is supplied to the control part 3 only in the case of measurement. Thus, unnecessary power consumption is eliminated so as to save power consumption. Consequently, even the batteries of the battery part 2 with a small battery capacity are used for a long term.
