CONSTITUTION: The metallic wire material 1 is heated above its annealing temperature during passing between the electrode rolls 2 and the wire drawing device 3 of the drawing rolls or dies, etc., arranged at the prescribed interval for electric heating. The heated metallic wire material 1 is given with the jet stream of pressurized water from the cooling nozzle and only the metallic surface is cooled at just before the wire drawing device 3, and it is drawn with the wire drawing device 3 and then is continuously wound to the winding bobbin 6 via a capstan 5.
