Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound diameter-measuring device in a loom, capable of accurately measuring the wound diameter of a wound warp product whose diameter is changed.
SOLUTION: A warp beam 21 for a pile is rotated with a delivery motor Mp. a turning roller 22 is rotated with the delivery of a warp Tp for the pile. A noncontact switch 37 is disposed at a place near to the orbit of an element 221 to be detected with the rotation of the turning roller 22. The noncontact switch 37 has a detection region on the orbit of the element 221 to be detected. When the detected element 221 is faced to the noncontact switch 37, the noncontact switch 37 outputs an ON signal to a delivery controller C2. The delivery controller C2 calculates the wound diameter of a warp beam 21 for the pile on the basis of a detection signal obtained from the noncontact switch 37.
