PURPOSE: To control weight balance corresponding to the taste of a writing person by providing a weight balance controlling ring body whose position is freely controllable in the longitudinal direction to the grip part of a writing utensil main body.

CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical grip part 6 having a length (l) in the longitudinal direction thereof is formed to a writing utensil main body 3 and a ring body 7 having a weight of 2-3g is externally fitted to the grip part 6. This ring body 6 is externally fitted to the grip part by definite friction force and, by applying force equal to or more than said friction force to the ring body 7, the position of the ring body 7 can be controlled within the length (l) of said grip part 6. Further, the ring body 7 can be detached from the writing utensil main body 3 and can be also replace with a separate ring body having a different weight. A separate ring body 10 having a weight of 3-4g is also mounted to the outside part of the insertion 8 of a cap 5. The ring body 10 can be also detached from the cap 5 in the same way as the ring body 7 of the writing utensil body 3 and can be replaced with a separate ring body having a different a weight.
