Abstract:
PURPOSE: To previously avoid an unjust contact accident by easily loading a cassette with a small-sized cassette regarded as a reference and unloading the cassette while preventing the cassette from popping up irrespective of a cassette size.
CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with a carriage 9 for loading the cassette C and moving between the loading position, the unloading position and a radiographing position, a detection circuit for detecting the size of the loaded cassette and a control circuit for moving the carriage 9 forward in accordance with the cassette size so that the center of the cassette may be aligned with the X-ray radiographing center XC and also for moving the carriage 9 back to the unloading position which is set in accordance with each cassette size so that the trailing end of the cassette may project from a cassette inserting hole only by a prescribed quantity irrespective of the cassette size.
