Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballooning controlling means of a yarn feeding apparatus free from the problem caused by the variation of the diameter of a yarn feeding member according to the delivery of the yarn and enable the supply of a yarn under stabilized tension.
SOLUTION: The yarn guide to be used in this apparatus is provided with rings 3 guiding yarns to the tip ends of plural branched rods 11 radially extending from a main rod 10. The connecting part of each ring 3 and the branched rod 11 is provided with a through-slit smoothly extending slantly from a side of the branched rod to the inside of the ring 3. Plural rings 3 are different in the diameters or the distances from the yarn feeding member. The yarn guide intermittently rotates the ring 3 around the main rod 10 on the axis of the yarn feeding member. The axis of the main rod 10 is made to coincide with the center axis of the yarn feeding member holder 19 to hold a plurality of yarn feeding members. The main rod 10 is rotated to change the ring at a prescribed timing in the course of varying the diameter of the yarn feeding member 1 according to the delivery of the yarn. The yarn is slipped off from the through slit of the ring 3 and guided to the inside of the newly introduced ring 3 by the circulating motion of the yarn.
