To provide the subject yarn feeding apparatus having simplified and compact structure, capable of continuously feeding a long bias yarn without interruption and having improved operability and workability by providing a controlling means to adjust the feeding amount of the bias yarn by controlling the rotation of a motor.
This yarn feeding apparatus is composed of beams 1, 2 holding wound bias yarns B1, B2, a motor 7 to deliver the bias yarns B1, B2 by rotating the beam 1, 2 and a controlling means to adjust the feeding amount of the bias yarns B1, B2 by controlling the rotation of the motor 7. It is further provided with a freely movable tension roller 8 engaged with the delivered bias yarns B1, B2 and position-detection means S1-S3 to detect the position of the tension roller 8. The adjustment of the feeding amount of the bias yarns B1, B2 by the controlling means is preferably carried out based on the detection signals transmitted from the position-detection means S1-S3.
