This method for producing the yoryu-like fabric, characterized by at least partially using yarns containing ≥30 wt.% of filaments which alternately have different shrinkage percent parts, respectively, in the longitudinal direction, producing a fabric so that parts substantially inhibiting the shrinkage of the filaments in the yarns are present in the tissue of the fabric over a length of 0.2 to 10 cm, and then thermally treating the fabric.
