Title:
MOISTURE SENSOR, MOISTURE MEASURING DEVICE, AND WATERSUPPLY METHOD UTILIZING IT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3035262
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the water content of a measurement target such as soil with high accuracy, sensitivity, and response at a low heating temperature by a compact probe.
SOLUTION: A moisture sensor is accommodated in a probe 14 that is arranged in a measurement target and is provided with a heater 2 for heating the surrounding of the probe 14 and a temperature-sensing element that is accommodated in the probe 14 for measuring temperature around the probe 14. Then, the moisture sensor water sensor is provided with a metal cooling pipe 1 that forms the outer wall of the probe 14 and has high thermal conductivity, a heater 2 that is arranged while adhering to the inner surface of the cooling pipe 1, a temperature-sensing element where a temperature-sensing point 19 is provided while the element adhered to the inner surface of the cooling pipe 1, a tube 7 for leading a lead wire 5 of the heater 2 and the lead wire of the temperature- sensing element to the outside of the probe 14 while being insulated each other, and a sealant 6 consisting of a thermal insulator for sealing the end part of the cooling pipe 1.
