Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce required maintenance of a turbosupercharger when exposed to dense abrasion particles in operation, having a long service life and a simple structure.

CONSTITUTION: This turbosupercharger has an exhaust turbine exposed to erosive particles causing abrasion. At least a part of a surface of the exhaust turbine having no protective layer is formed with an erosion-protecting layer 16 by thermal spraying. The erosion-protecting layer 16 contains a hard material of carbide.
