Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable shear load to be effectively moved by fixing a gage loosely retaining a nut on a clamped base and regularly arranging serration on the surfaces of the gage and nut so as to move shear load between the gage and nut when clamped.
CONSTITUTION: A gage 19 is fixed on an inner surface of an inner panel 17. A nut 21 is loosely retained in the gage 19. The inner panel 17 is fixed to an outer panel 15 by a bolt 13 and the nut 21. Serration arrangements 41, 43 are formed in pairs on the surfaces of the gage 19 and nut 21 opposite to each other, so that shear load is moved between the gage 19 and nut 21 when clamped.
