Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode for a high output durable nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.SOLUTION: In the negative electrode of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using graphite having an amorphous carbon coat in a negative electrode active material, the negative electrode active material has the DDTA sum of 5.6-13.2 μV in the range of 620-640°C of the differential curve (DDTA curve) of a DTA (Differential Thermal Analysis) curve, obtained when TG-DTA measurement is performed. The amorphous carbon coating amount is 4.0-7.5 pts.mass for 100 pts.mass of the negative electrode active material. A binder for binding the negative electrode active material includes styrene-butadiene rubber having a glass transition point of -40°C through -10°C.
