Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair with standing assist function which is configured to facilitate standing of a user with weak lower limb muscle or the like from a seated posture.SOLUTION: A base portion 12 connects between leg portions and a seat portion 14 is provided to be vertically displaced relative to the base portion 12. the vertical displacement of the seat portion 14 is guided by a guide bar 14A, a rack gear 16A is vertically extended to be fixed to a bottom surface of the seat portion 14, the rack gear 16A is meshed with a pinion gear, a rotation shaft is connected to the pinion gear, and a driven gear of a driving gear group is connected to the rotation shaft. The driven gear is connected to a driving gear of large diameter by an endless chain, and the driving gear is provided with an operation lever. An auxiliary spring 15 is provided between the seat portion 14 and the base portion 12 to bias the seat portion 14 upward relative to the base portion 12, and the operation force of the operation lever is assisted.
