Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor for reducing the volume of infectious wastes, which reliably prevents infectious substances from being scattered by compressing infectious wastes, such as medical wastes, to reduce the volume.SOLUTION: The compressor includes: a vessel 2 which stores infectious wastes W; a lid 3 which seals an opening of the vessel 2; a compression board 4 which provides a lifting mechanism 5 to lift the wastes W cast in the vessel 2; a mechanism 6 which sprays an antiseptic solution into the vessel 2; a mechanism 7 which sucks a gas inside the vessel 2 and keeps the pressure in the vessel 2 to be negative; a mechanism 8 which sterilizes the gas sucked by the mechanism 7 at a high temperature; a mechanism 9 which cools the gas sterilized by the mechanism 8 at a high temperature; and a mechanism 10 which adsorbs and deodorizes malodor components contained in the gas cooled by the mechanism 9.
