Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control system based on a satellite positioning system that can provide control depending on positioning precision of the satellite positioning system.SOLUTION: A system for detecting inaccuracies in a GNSS receiver or a GPS receiver mounted on a vehicle includes the GNSS receiver or the GPS receiver, an average position and standard deviation determination unit, an inaccuracy determination unit, and a vehicle controller. The GNSS receiver or the GPS receiver receives a signal indicating a current position of the vehicle. The average position and standard deviation determination unit determines an average position and a standard deviation of the position of the vehicle. The inaccuracy determination unit determines whether or not the standard deviation is greater than a standard deviation threshold. The vehicle controller adjusts safety applications of one main vehicle or subordinate vehicle when the standard deviation is greater than the standard deviation threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
