PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a tool life while improving a processing efficiency when processing a cutting resistant material.SOLUTION: A cutting tool comprises a shank 1 and a cutting part 2 provided on a side face of the shank 1. The cutting part 2 has cutting blades 21 of which plural rows are located along a circumferential direction of a side face 11 of the shank 1 and of which plural stages are located an extension direction of a shaft center C of the shank 1 in each row. The cutting blade 21 has: a radial direction relief angle which is inclined to a radial direction inner side from a blade tip with respect to a tangent line of the side face 11 of the shank 1; a tip side relief angle such that a tip side face, which is directed to a tip side in the extension direction of the shaft center C of the shank 1, is inclined to a base end side from the blade tip with respect to a circumferential direction; and a base end side relief angle such that a base end side face, which is directed to the base end side in the extension direction of the shaft center C of the shank 1, is inclined to the tip side from the blade tip with respect to the circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
