To stably prevent chattering in which opening and closing of a valve element is repeated when an exhaust gas control valve 2 is provided in an exhaust gas bypass passage 1 for bypassing an exhaust gas turbine in an exhaust gas turbocharger of an internal combustion engine and the valve element 3 thereof is interlocked /connected to an actuator 6 relating to an operation condition of the internal combustion engine via a rod shaft 10.
A spring means 13 applying friction resistance to reciprocating motion of the rod shaft in an axial direction indicated by arrow heads A, B is pressed against an outer circumference surface of the rod shaft directly or via a friction member. Chattering in which the valve element of the exhaust gas control valve vibrates to repeat opening and closing by pulsation of exhaust gas can be surely prevented by applying friction resistance to the reciprocating motion of the rod shaft in the axial direction by the spring means.
