Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an exhaust gas disposing device to heat a filter by means of a heater and collect particulate in exhaust gas by means of the filter for incineration and disposal.
CONSTITUTION: Filters 4 of porous ceramics are arranged in a laminated state respectively in two treating chambers 25 and 26 into which the interior of a casing 20 is divided by means of a partition plate 16. One treating chamber is released to collect particulate in exhaust gas and the other treating chamber is closed and slight exhaust gas is forced to flow to incinerate and dispose the collected particulate. A power from the generator 6 of a turbocharger 5 is fed to a heater 22, a filter 4 is heated to redness by means of the heater 22, and particulate collected by means of the filter 4 is incinerated and disposed.
