Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the execution of an efficient experiment by operating virtual acceleration in an aircraft on the basis of signals from accelerometers fixed in orthogonally 3-axis directions, comparing the operated result with a reference value and transmitting a start or stop instruction to an experiment unit within the aircraft on the basis of the comparison result. CONSTITUTION:An aircraft is provided with an experiment unit 10A such as an experiment tool for automatically manufacturing, for example, an alloy under micro-gravity, and a tool for experimenting the ecology of an animal under micro-gravity, and a memory device 10B is connected to the unit 10A. Also, acceleration sensors 11X to 11Z are fixed in orthogonal 3-axis directions in the aircraft, and the size of virtual acceleration G in the aircraft is operated with a computing element 12 on the basis of virtual acceleration GX to GZ in an each axial direction detected with the aforesaid sensors 11X to 11Z. Furthermore, the virtual acceleration G and a comparison reference value GSET set with a setting device 13 are compared with each other in a comparator 14. When G<=GSET, gravity is judged to be at a micro level and an experiment start signal is outputted. Also, when G>GSET, an experiment stop signal is outputted.
