PURPOSE: To prevent mismounting when pin chuck device is used by structuring each pin chuck device in such a way as tracing the applicable panel pins, and supporting a panel at its seal face.
CONSTITUTION: The inside surface 23 of a panel 20 is measured by reference to the pin plane formed from three of a plurality of panel pins 25 provided on the panel inside surface 24. Therein a pin chuck 63 is permitted to trace after those of panel pins 25 which determine the pin plane, and the pin chuck position is measured, and the pin plane is calculated from the measuring data acquired. The panel inside surface in a plurality of predetermined positions is measured 80 on the basis of the reference surface of the measuring device, and the panel inside surface by reference to the pin plane is calculated from the data acquired. That is, each pin chuck device has a structure as tracing the applicable panel pins. The panel 20 is supported at its seal surface. As a result, the arrangement is free from risk of mismounting even though the pin embedding error enlarges in association with large-sized panel constructing.
