Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a reconstructed image of suitable image quality in accordance with application.SOLUTION: An image processing unit generates a reconstructed image in which a subject in a focal distance of an evaluation object which is focus-evaluated is focused in a range of a prescribed focal distance from images corresponding to passing luminous flux different in combination of a pupil region and an incidence direction of an imaging optical system by individual pixels of image signals. Specifically, the reconstructed image is generated by summing up the pixel values of the pixels of the image signals, which correspond to the individual pixels of the reconstructed image. The image processing unit varies the pixels of the image signals for summing up the pixel values in accordance with the pixels of the image signals, which can be summed up when the pixels in the region are generated, in one reconstructed image which can be generated in the range of the prescribed focal distance on the pixels in the prescribed region of the reconstructed image to be generated.
