Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of image defects due to attachment of foreign substances, and suppress a variation in sheet conveying speed.SOLUTION: An image reading device (103) comprises: first image reading means (151) that reads an image from a first surface of a sheet (D) through a first transparent part (152); and second image reading means (201) that reads an image from a second surface of the sheet through a second transparent part (202). A first guide part (402) facing the first transparent part when viewed from a sheet conveying direction in a reading part of the second image reading means is located on the opposite side of the second transparent part with respect to a second guide part (502) facing the second transparent part. A guide part (403) is provided on downstream of the first guide part for guiding the rear end of the sheet to move along the position of the second guide part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
